This is a pretty nice place to live (if you can afford it). I was in a studio on the edge of the building and loved the layout since it felt like it had a separate bedroom due to the blinds dividing the space. Very quiet. Management is very on top of it with checking in with residents (almost annoyingly so). I found management easy to reach and responsive. Literally the only reason I moved is the price, but I think it deserves 5 stars if you can comfortably afford it.

I moved in here December of 2020 and the management here and staff have been nothing short of absolutely wonderful. Derek gave me a virtual FaceTime tour and I signed the lease sight unseen (besides the digital tour, obviously), and Eva helped me secure the unit I reside in in less than 48 hours from the time I toured the unit. There are some reviews that state that there are bugs and roaches but I think that everyone has a different experience of the place, I have not met any roaches since moving in here so it probably depends on the unit you live in. Matt, Eva, Derek and Jake have been very helpful and kind and made this place very welcoming.

Great location, spacious and comfortable apartment!
I've been living here since 2019 and loving it.
Pros:
-central location and very walkable (several grocery stores short walk away, 24hr CVS, a few food spots, starbucks etc)
-very spacious units with a lot of storage space (extra storage space in the building available for rent)
-assigned gated parking (lately they added EV chargers)
-free online payments and easy online maintenance requests (they're also super fast to tackle any issues that may arise)
-friendly neighbors! (a lot of tech industry folks here, myself included :))
Cons:
-it's not cheap (but the amount of space and location is worth it)
-pool is heated during summer but not winter months. I work from home so it would be nice to be able to use it during winter too.

There is an alley on the Northside where you can have your clients pull up, and on the Southside there is a discrete parking lot you can reserve for your supplier to come through. People who live here have money, and alot are college students so the sand is high, as well as a bar just downstairs to the south where you can find even more potential clients. I miss this place.

I lived at Westwood Villa over 3 years. Great neighborhood, but the office management changes often so you never know how nice or dependable they're going to be. Some really ridiculous things happened there because of bad management, but the next month or so, the staff would be different. Rent is really high, so bad neighbors don't stay long. Bad thing is, though, good neighbors don't stay long either. Pool area and inside apts -beautiful. Huge closets in bedrooms! (if you can ignore cheap plastic saloon doors). Hallways outside are ok but elevators are horrible and really need redoing. Most tenants are not very friendly, some sketchy ones also, but mostly nice folk. Some people think parking garage is scary but I didnt. One block from Vons, CVS and lots of good stores and eats. Building was built in 1978-the wooden balconiy rails look like it and why the new burnt orange paint job?! Overall though, it has nice curb appeal, the apts are comfy and quiet and I loved every single second I spent there.

This is a great place for a first time college student. Leasing office is responsive and knowledgeable. Grounds and public areas are well kept. Some apartments on the first and second floors don't get very much natural light though. It's a really old building but it's quite respectable. Noise levels are pretty much always within reason. Tenants are friendly, but if you want to be left alone, they won't bother you either. Maybe a little expensive for what it is, but if you are first moving to LA it's a really good place to good settled because of how responsive the management is.
Its quiet and clean. Residents are friendly. The pool is great. I live here and I like it.
