Find a Logan Apartment

Logan is a quiet, mid-sized city of approximately 48,000 people in Utah. Like Salt Lake City, members of the Mormon religion founded it. Mormon religious buildings were among the first constructed after the settlers came to the area. Logan is generally regarded as a highly educated city, likely because of the high number of students and staff who are affiliated with Utah State University.

The University started as an agricultural school in the 19th century, but has grown to an institution that serves more than 28,000 students, and that employs more than 2,500 people. The school is also competitive athletically, with the Utah State Aggies competing in the Division I Mountain West Conference. One famous alumni of the program is Anthony Calvillo, who played most of his career with the Canadian Football League, but who holds the record for most passing yardage in professional football of all time.

When to Search

Utah State University is a very large school, and its students probably rent more apartments in Logan than any other one demographic. As such, you have to respect their schedule when apartment shopping. Realize that most students probably leave town around April and May, and that this is the best time for you to do your own apartment shopping.

Staying in the Know

When you're applying for an apartment in Logan, remember that this is a typical Utah city, which means that religion is very important to many people. Not everyone is religious, and not everyone is Mormon, but there will be a smattering of landlords out there to whom religious affiliation is very important. It is best not to mention the topic just to avoid accidentally offending someone.
