I moved here in February 2016..honestly, I love it here!..all the staff and residents are very friendly...all the apartments are getting remodeling along with the inside and outside and if there happens to be any issues with anything, it is taken care of right away..give it a chance, I think others would like it here too.

Absolute worst place to live. Do not trust management. Lynette is an awful worker. The other tenants are trashy people who have no consideration...

Absolute worst place to live. Do not trust management. Lynette is an awful worker. The other tenants are trashy people who have no consideration of others. Homeless people hot on you when you take your dog for a walk. If you ever request maintenance to do something or complain about something at the office, get it on video. They lie and pretend like you never said anything. Do yourself a favor and do not move in. Oh yeah, to top it all off, we were broken into and our bikes stolen.

When we first moved in, it was not to bad but after the first year it became HORRIBLE. Management, up keep, staff, tenants, it all went downhill. Maintenance half fixed EVERY work order we requested, staff who was named Carla always answered the phone when I needed to speak to a manager was HORRIBLY rude and disrespectful. On our move out day she even had an attitude with me. Janet had her moments as well. I do not recommend living here until the management changes. Apartments inside was not to bad, spacious for the price and location which was my reason living here. But the neighbors were another story. Loud music blasting on their patio, another neighbor yelled numerously and daily in the hallways to his guest, just no courtesy for others. Riverfront apartments also need a bit of updating and monthly bug prevention as a lot of spiders and insects were in the doorways and hallways at time. I sprayed my apartment and exteriors with raid and did not see many but outside my house it was a few especially during the summers. Overall, I will never think twice about living here again and I would not recommend living here.

i was shown a very unkept apartment. they made it seem like over the phone it was nice. the door was raggedy. the bathroom was not up to date the carpet was a mess. right from the beginning the out door steps were dirty paint peeling off the wall. i wondered if they was giving me this apartment because i was on section 8 i never got a phone call back offering me something better. i had all my paper work transferred had to spend money to take greyhound there and back to grand rapids. and had to have every thing transferred back. the refrigerator was old and unkept there was a hole in the living room ceiling the woman had two months to make repairs. what a waste. beautiful location but lousy apartment

It is apparently inspection season year-round at Riverfront. They literally enter my apt, on average, once a month for one reason or another. There are drunks everywhere because they refuse to fence them out. However, the location is amazing, and the apartments are well maintained by an excellent staff of very responsive and skilled maintenance workers.
