I lived there for 1 year. The staff is nice but doesn't respond to issue very quickly. When I moved out still had pending work order request from the first week of living there. When I inquired always got the "part is on back order" . Now I'm trying to get my security deposit back and still cant get anyone to return my calls. Moved out June 29th.

Today marks the 4th instance that I have been forced to take a cold shower before work.
This building is constantly under maintenance. 2/3 treadmills in the "gym" have been out of order for months.

I lived here for year and a half and the reason I moved out is the lady that works as a secretary named Kristen. Very arrogant lady that thinks that she is your boss or the owner of the building. She raise her voice at you don't let you say anything and when you ask her something she literally ask you to go out of the office. I couldn't stand that and I moved out. Otherwise it is a nice, quiet and safe place to live. If something is broken they fix it right away. Pool does not work for most of the time and when it works water is very cold. But the secretary lady will make you leave this place.

Worst place and worst management company I have ever dealt with! My apartment was NOT move in ready upon moving in and I was not made aware until I walked into the office to sign my lease! I moved in Memorial Day weekend of 2015 and the apartment was not even ready until August 2015!!! We had no water for the first 4 days, my bathroom had no mirror for over 5 weeks, took them about 6 weeks to just caulk my shower, we only had one half of our kitchen cabinets for about 3 weeks and those weren't even put together all the way because they were missing shelves. The most I got off my rent was $300! I should have never been charged rent! The list can go on and on! The elevators were consistently breaking down, the stairways are not safely lit, the water was shut down every other day, we lost the AC often, and even went 2 weeks in October of 2015 (the coldest 2 weeks) without heat and all they gave were tiny little space heaters. Kristen in the office is very condescending and Bryon makes a LOT of promises he cannot keep.
I moved out in May 2016, was sent a bill to replace the carpet and I disputed it and won. I am now 3 months out and STILL have not gotten my security back from Princeton!

After living in a few apartment complexes over the years, Lansing Tower has proven to be a class act. The location is ideal, as the building is right across the street from several State buildings and a quick 5 minute walk to restaurants, Cooley Law School or LCC downtown. I have felt extremely safe on the property and the residents are nothing short of friendly.
The management is astounding: helpful, on top of things, and even give you rent-is-due reminders. I felt included/welcomed the day I signed my lease. The building is being renovated and offers several new upgrades. Each apartment has full-length windows, maximizing the already-amazing views (some of the best in Lansing, including the Capital). Any of the minor maintenance requests I have made have been taken care of within 24 hours by respectful individuals.
I would recommend Lansing Tower to anyone who asked.

DO NOT RENT HERE! You will regret it. Don't be fooled by the nice views and clean apartment. There are a lot of issues with this building. Pool was closed by city due to ordinance violation. Most of the treadmills in the work out room don't work. There are two elevators. For a while, only one was working. The washers and dryers have issues. Washer and dryers go out periodically. Management had to replace pipes. They ran plastic pipes in hallways and it took them awhile to cover them. When they did cover them, they left sheetrock with pencil writing exposed. Made the halls look trashy. There is nothing luxury about this place. The water has been shut off almost every other month. Back door didn't lock. Management left it like this for months. Downtown isn't the safest area. Many people have left and will be leaving after there lease expires. They can't keep tenants here. Who wants to pay rent to a place that shuts your water off every other month. If you read anything good, then it's managements. No current tenants have positive things to say about this place...
To comfortably afford an apartment, we recommend having at least three times your monthy rent in gross household income.
