If you're new to town, the best way to learn about your new home is to head to the East Tennessee History Center to learn about Knoxville, and the rest of the state. If you want to learn about the history that stretches back much further than the arrival of the European Settlers, then you need to visit the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center.
