We lived here for almost 2 years, it wasn't horrible at first, and Jenn, the property manager was really nice, and even by the time we left, she was nice. The problems that I had were mainly the neighbors and the bills. We had to call the police more than once for our neighbors blaring music at 1AM, but they never got in trouble for it with the apartment complex. The hallway almost always smelled like weed, I don't think the people in the apartments around us were very clean, because we always found a couple of dead roaches when we vacuumed, and the tipping point for us was when my husband's catalytic converter was ripped out from under his suv. Now, when we moved out, we were told that our apartment looked wonderful, and the only thing we would be charged for was the usual $30 carpet cleaning fee. So out of our $300 deposit, I expected to get around $200 back, since we also would have to pay for our last month's utilities. Somehow, they made it to where we had to pay for 2 months of utilities, which we weren't even living there the last 3 months of our lease, just paying the rent so as to not break the contract. Somehow our utilities made it to where we only received $58 total back. I tried calling the office at least 10 times, either no one would answer, or some woman I had never met would, and took my name and number and said I would be called back, but I never was. I also called the company that owns this property, and they also promised me a call back, yet again, didn't happen. So my suggestion would be to find somewhere else to rent, yeah they're cheap, but they charge an enormous amount for utilities, even when you don't use them, and it isn't worth the frustration.
