I enjoyed living at Fox Chase. I lived there for 3 years and never had a serious problem with anyone, never felt unsafe or anything. Good property that is very close to Fallen Timbers mall, a short walk from Kroger and a short drive from everything else Toledo has to offer. Excellent place to live. The one bad thing that kept me from giving Fox Chase 5 stars is dealing with the staff at times is a huge annoyance. First, I always had issues getting the staff to answer the phone. I would call multiple times and no one would answer but when i walked over the lady was sitting in the office playing with her cats IN the office. Now, i'm not a cat person so I'm a little biased but it was weird and unprofessional to have you cats laying across the desk while i"m trying to ask questions about my lease. Also, when i was moving out, to move cross-country, i made an appointment (per instruction from the office, an appointment must be made so that maintenance can confirm the apt is in fact empty) with the office to turn over my keys, not only was i stood up but no one in the office answered my calls and the office was locked at 9 in the morning. When Felicia finally returned my call, a few days later, she told me i could have just left the keys with the office and left without an appointment. Huge annoyance.

This place would be nice if they didn't constantly have people doing things outside all day. You can't enjoy your day because they're always outside mowing or laying mulch or something. It's always noisy during the day too, it's never peaceful like it should be. Because of this I agree that it is VERY over priced for what you get.

Completely agree with Ashley. Almost all other apartment complexes I have lived at, in regards to the fine print of the lease agreement are for the most part flexible. Just be VERY aware of the fine print and these people are in it for the money. Also after you move out, I highly recommend checking your credit report as they will say everything is settled but still put it out for collections. Otherwise people living there are friendly. Very quiet also.

Pros-The apartments are large and the maintenance staff is very nice and helpful. Cons- you can hear all of the neighbors, you can hear everything. Over priced for the quality you recieve. They do not show you the apartment you are actually getting (which tgey show a very nice and updated demo). They are a pet friendly community , but the cat hair that was in our apartment was overwhelming and unacceptable. I had to prove with picture that there was a unacceptable amount after they cleaned. I had to send pictures to prove it before they would re-clean. They charge for absolutely everything and our cars got broke into. Very outdated property and the office manager had called me to remind me of their cancelation policy when another apartment complex called to do a reference check. She didnt ask why I was looking or showed any concern what so ever. They just want the money but no way do they put it back into the complex.

My first floor apartment flooded over the 2013 winter and the maintenance team really didn't help to solve the problem. The carpet should have been replaced and was not. The patio was flooding, sinking, and caving in, the apartments are small and dimly lit, my washer died and it took a week to get replaced, the apartments are very overpriced, and there is plenty of fine print in the lease agreement. If you want to spend way too much money, have sub par customer service, and get nickle - and - dimed regularly, move right on in!

The groundskeeper does a excellent job. However the inside of some of the units are less than acceptable for cleanliness. First floor apartments at least the one I had was ridden with spiders so I moved to a second floor apartment which was somewhat better. Also be very careful with the lease with these guys and the fine print because they are very technical and will use it to take advantage of you when you try to leave.

Pros: Very nice grounds with pleasant landscaping; good tenant screening; large balconies, quite reasonable rent; vaulted ceilings on uppers; washer/dryer in unit; pet policy; fire place; proximity to retail, restaurants, and freeway. Cons: Noise from trains and airport. Bad windows that do not slide (in my unit). Fox Chase makes a good effort to maintain a somewhat aging property in a down economy and falling rental market rates. Be sure to search around for the right unit and check it over thoroughly before entering into a contract. Keeping this in mind, I feel this property offers comfy, good value units for rent. I would highly recommend to those with good credit and clean records that can pass the screening process.
