Corey in maintenance is the man. He will take care of whatever needs to be done and is extremely quick. He will go above and beyond to help out the tenants. Both are extremely friendly and make living here much better!

I truly enjoy my apartment at Avalon Great Neck. All staff members are wonderful and helpful. However this year at lease renewal, the leasing office decided to increase my 1 bedroom apartment's rent by $700 per month which is a 25% increase.
I am a health care worker who works hard for my community especially during the pandemic. This huge increase in my rent is causing me and my family significant anxiety daily and a big burden on our budget.
I spoke with the leasing office and tried to plead my case. However they told me that the current rental market is very hot and they need to increase my rent to reflect the market rate in the area.
I wish they can take into account that we are all people who has family and need a place to live so that we can go to work everyday. Sometimes it is not just about money and the max amount of rent you can charge someone to make the most profit. There is a relationship involved and a human aspect also. Just like medicine and see sick patients in the hospital, it should really be more than just money.
I probably will loose the home I love at Avalon Great Neck because of this huge increase in rent that I cannot afford anymore despite being a hardworking health care worker. I am going to miss everyone and all the wonderful staffs here in the community. I only wish the company can have a heart and more compassion for hard working people who truly wants to be part of this community.

Have been living here for over a year and truly are so happy with choosing this building. Corey and Billy are wonderful, and truly make us feel secure and taken care of. They are both so friendly and always there to help. Corey is so quick in responding to any work order, and is so smart and will figure out how to fix anything. He not only fixes what you call him for but always surveys the apartment and makes sure everything is running properly. We love him.
