The staff was kind, but the apartment we were given was in unacceptable condition. It smelled of mold, there was mold in the bathroom, there were holes in the wall, burn marks in the floor and a host of other problems. The people who worked in the complex said everything would be fixed if we'd moved in at 12 pm the day we moved in, instead of the few hours earlier, but the list of maintenance work was over a page long. Fortunately they voided the lease and we were able to find another place to live, but my recommendation is make sure you see where you're living because the place you may end up living could look nothing like the model you were shown.

Been here for 2+ years as a graduate student at UF. The downside is that this is a bit old apartment (some floor noise) and because it's literally covered by trees you can't get away from bugs. But look at the pros: staffs (Alaina and Logan) are very attentive and helpful, provide super fast maintenance, and you pay reasonable rent. I will be moving out of town shortly due to my change in position, but I'd say I am very satisfied with living here. So long as you're not looking for a luxurious apartment that costs ~$1200, this is the right place for you.

One of the best apartment experiences that I've had in Gainesville. I don't usually write reviews but I cannot recommend this complex enough for the price. The rent is extremely reasonable, the office staff is amazing, and repairs are done extremely quickly. It's also a nice quiet complex with many trees and birds. There are also two pools that are rarely busy.
With all that being said, there are a couple of cons that might not make this ideal place for you to rent. First, as others have mentioned, the building are older and made of wood, so the floors do tend to creak a bit and appliances are older (but work great). Second, the equipment in the gym is older and some machines do not work. Finally, there are some spiders (harmless Banana Spiders) that come out in the summer.
All in all, this was an excellent apartment complex with great staff. Highly recommend.

Used to be great. A lot of the charming qualities have dissipated. The pool is great and it's relatively quiet, Maintenance rocks but I don't plan to renew. The Gym is in poor shape, there's a steady flow of homeless dumpster divers, needles along the treeline and wild cats. It's just not the same.

My husband and I have lived here 2 years and it is great for us. Yes, there are bugs and occasionally roaches, but welcome to a wooded area in Florida. The have super reasonable pet rates as well which was important to us as we have 2 kitties and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for them. Some of the units are more up-to-date than others, but you'll get that most places you go to. I do wish there was a little more storage in the kitchen -- maybe a pantry? That's pretty much my only complaint!
