Coblentz dining hall on campus does offer some food and meals for the student body, however if you’re interesting in something else you have plenty of options to choose from. Cacique Restaurant on nearby Market Street serves delicious spanish eats that might delight your tastebuds. Volt is another place on Market Street, serving modern American cuisine. The restaurant is actually a contemporized 1890s mansion which makes it even more spectacular. This might be a little bit pricey, but worth it. Market Street has a number of different restaurants and it’s only a few minutes drive from campus. As of the 2010 census there was 65,239 people living inside the city limits. On campus there were 1,422 individuals working toward an undergraduate degree. The majority of folks on campus are caucasian women. In the city proper the gender makeup is split more evenly. In an interesting statistic, 42% of residents were not born in Maryland, but elsewhere so if you’re from out of state you might meet somebody that can reminisce about your home state with you.
