If you plan on moving out here and you have active children, don't waste your time. They expect them to play in a designated area next to the office, that is littered with dog poop. They expect children to have indoor voices outside during daylight hours. Also they do not enforce the pet owners to pick up their dog poop. Also they will tell you we have a gym "coming soon". It's going on a year now since it's been open. During the summer it gets bad out here because all kinds of people come out here after office hours to go swimming. This is how the gym and pool got destroyed. Not sure if the pool has been fixed for them to reopen. We pay a pest control fee every month and is told they will spray every month. My home has been sprayed 3 times within the past year. But I have no bugs. The positives, they don't bother u alot, water stay hot, and never had maintenance to come and fix my requests.

The only thing good about this apartment complex is the area and the price of the apt compare to the prices in Arlington. The things I hated was the limited parking spaces, the apts not worth the price, management constantly changing, the water bills gonna freak you out because youre paying a month behind aka a mess up system. When I first move there a girl name Yessica quoted us wrong. What was on the ledger was wrong, compare to what was on the lease. That mistake took months to fix. Overall not bad but I would find somewhere else more organized.

Not perfect but getting there. The complex recently got a new manager and she's really seemed to put forth a lot more effort than previous managers to get the place cleaned up and in top shape. Time will tell if every issue that needs to be addressed is addressed but so far I'm happy with the steps being taken.

RENT AT YOUR RISK. I notice that several other reviews here amount to the office staff is friendly. That was certainly my first impression, too, but, as any resident of La Jolla will quickly discover, friendliness does not translate to a safe or hospitable environment. Between blocked and painted-over dryer vents (which, per the repairman from GE who came out to work on our dryer after it died as a result, is a major fire hazard), faulty wiring (which maintenance came to work on over a year ago but never completed repairs on), fitness equipment thats been broken since January 2017 (though theyll tell you they have an on site gym) and a pool thats been closed for a year, friendliness is all youll get. And I won't even get into the front office's habit of holding your mail for weeks at a time without notifying you it's there. I've been trying since Summer of 2016 to have these issues resolved, but, with the office staff changing every few months, it's next to impossible. I've spent so much time dealing with them that it's become a second job-- they never pick up the phone, so, if you need something done, you better work a day job that lets you go to the office in-person during their regular business hours.

Staff is friendly but dont actually do anything. In the months Ive lived here things have just fallen apart with no repairs being made. All the machines in the gym are broken (thought I would save money on a membership but guess not) and the fence is falling apart. There was a small tornado right before I signed my lease that damaged a bunch of stuff that still isnt fixed and that was months ago. Then when they evict someone they dump all of that persons belongings on the nearest lawn. Ive come home from work to find huge piles of garbage in front of my apartment that stays there for days.

The Management have really turned around the apartments. Staff is very friendly, willing to help in any way they can. If any issue arises...

I've lived her for almost 5 years, always paid my rent and water bill on time without a problem however, about 3 months ago a new company bought the complex.. In Jan the mgr tried to tell me I had a $40 balance from the previous owner, she did not know how or why and could only provide some sort of "ledger from the previous owner" so I let her make copies of receipts showing my rent/water paid in full and let her know that I would not be paying the mysterious $40 for god knows what. 3/14/17 I went into the office to see when the water bill would be mailed out due to it's mid month and I'm sure the bill is due and the mgr informs me that I have a balance of $246 from last months rent.. so I let her make a copy of the signed money order with the water bill and she then says well maybe it's for the month before.. Nope, here's that receipt also which she made a copy of also ( even though they keep the original and give me the copies so of course they SHOULD already have this info) Yesterday I received a letter stating that I now owe $246 with no explanation and of course no one is answering the phone at the office. Sad to go but I just refuse to pay a extra $246 when I have receipts showing that I've paid my rent/water IN FULL, ON TIME for the last 4-5 years. Currently iso a realtor, tired of dealing with the unnecessary stress when I've been a faithful paying tenant for many years. Tiffany Stewart

I've been living here since October of 2015. I moved here from Tennessee and this was my first apartment in Texas. Previous management was okay I didn't know much about them and they just up and disappeared one day. Lol. The management after them weren't bad in my opinion. When I had car trouble for 2 months they worked with me on my rent...Not many places will do that. So, I'm grateful for that. Sad to see them go. The current management is just as great! Yessica (I think that's how you spell her name) is super sweet and nice. I haven't had any problems with roaches since I been here. They come to spray and put down bait every so often. Also, it says keep your place clean as well. I'm assuming it's a team effort. Lol. But no bug problem for me. My neighbors above and to the back of me are really quiet. For a very long time I never knew anyone lived above and to the back of me. I will say if you are going to be loud and disruptive to other residents I can bet that you won't be a resident long. Parking is not bad but it's not great, yet! They are actually starting to tow cars now. At first everyone was just parking everywhere including the visitors. Honestly, I would recommend someone who is looking for an apartment to give La Jolla on Meadowbrook a chance. I've enjoyed it the last 17 months. Oh yeah they have a 24 hr fitness center for those that like to workout. I use it from time to time myself. If I'm not mistaken all the apartments are upgraded with all black appliances, flat top stove, back splash, and new fixtures. Looks a tons better than when I first moved in. But yes give La Jolla on Meadowbrook a chance. I do recommend them to be your next home.

This Is by far the worst apartments in Fort Worth. They have the worst roach infestation EVER!!!!! In building 600. We complained to the office about them easily getting into our refrigerator. They said they would fix the problem but never did. They let you know that they exterminate every Wednesday...I have yet to see anyone come in or out of my apartment. Now the people in the office are very nice thats the only thing I liked. Also sometimes at night the A/C would go out and yes it get really hot. Although its really quiet there, we had a lot of break ins. I wouldn't want anyone to live in the area of east chase.

I love the floor plans and the fact u have a washer dryer in every unit. One thing I would change is the option for visitors to park in a certain area. There should never be a time a resident has to walk far because someones visitors park up front!
