Dropped off my wife to visit a friend. The staff let me use the restroom. Doesnt seem that big of a deal, but Im African American. Im still not welcome to use a lot of restrooms in places. My wife is corporate America & Im a construction worker. So I dont fit the description of someone that belongs in a lot of places I go. I really appreciate the hospitality

I love living here and one of the main reasons is the staff. Josue always responds immediately whenever I have need for a maintenance request, fixes the problem right away and does it always with a smile and a kind attitude. I hope they give him a raise or something. He's that good.
The community members are all respectful and abide by the lease agreement. I've never had issues with noise from neighbors or anything like that.
The amenities are pretty high quality.The pool is big, there's plenty of grills around the property, and the gym is spacious too with plenty of cardio machines and equipment.
One of the big selling points is you don't have to pay extra for a parking space in the garage. This isn't the case in most properties around the area.
The hallways are always clean and well maintained and the package management system is pretty good: Amazon hub or a package room, there's also a separate mail room for envelops on each hallway.
If there's any downside to living here, it would be that it can be hard for food delivery personnel to get to your apartment. But in my case, I just include a couple of lines with instructions on how to make it to my door and that solves the problem for me. And to be honest if that's the biggest downside I have to deal with, I don't mind. 5 stars!

We moved here in November to an apartment that was not quite what we wanted. Due to their 30 day satisfaction guarantee, we were able to switch over to the perfect apartment that fortunately became available after our move. Were now in that new apartment and couldnt be happier. The staff here at Avalon Edgewater has been exceptionally helpful and easy to work with. Always available and happy to help, this is the best leasing staff Ive ever dealt with.
Especially Michelle Rodriguez! Shes super knowledgeable and always happy to answer any of our questions. She has made our move here a pleasure.
Also; shout out to Johnny and Josue from the maintenance dept. for helping me hang a large mirror. Although this is not a task they normally do, they showed up with a smile, and helped me hang the mirror in a few minutes. First rate!!
