I spent an entire weekend without a/c. Called answering service every hour and they continued to page the on-call people and call the owner and no one answered. Then came home to the bathroom leaking again and called every hour. No one returned phone calls or showed up to fix the problem until I called the answering service the next day and informed them that I had to stay in a hotel that night due to the heat and water leaking. Someone showed up within the hour. I will be turning my hotel bill in when I pay my partial rent and reporting this rental to the city. This is illegal.

I've lived here 8 months and CAN NOT WAIT until my lease is up. I will be moving first chance I get. I should have did a more detail scope out before I moved in. Loud music and people all day all the time. The walls are really very thin I can hear the upstairs neighbors like they were in the next room. Not once was I able to come home and have peace and quiet because I'm always hearing arguments, extremely loud music, running and loud noises. I have to sometimes turn my ac on to drown it out. Absolutely no consideration for other tenants. Management also didn't tell me when I moved in that I would be able to hear the elevator operate almost all the time. It's very irritating. I've been keeping my cool but I'm fed up living here. I should of stayed where I was at. Lesson learned! Oh yeah and most of the people here are obnoxious as hell. I will surely NOT be resigning another lease in the fall. If you Iike peace, quiet, friendly neighbors and we'll kept grounds. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

The manager, Deana, was very nice when showing and leasing the apartment. Unfortunately, we didn't hang around the apartment complex enough to know what we were getting into. We were mislead to believe their were long standing residents here. The buildings are supposed to be locked, but everytime we go outside, which is about every 3-4 hours, there are rocks and other objects stuck in the doorways, so they will not shut. Several times I have left for work and found homeless or drunk people sleeping in the hallway. The police patrol the outside pretty regularly, but that doesn't stop the fireworks in the parking lot and the screaming and yelling at all hours of the night. I am also pretty sure there are regular drug deals going on in the back parking lot on a regular basis because the cars seem to stop coming when the usual police patrol comes around and then the wave of drops and pick-ups continue once the police are gone. On a daily basis, we see the police and/or firetruck pass by or even come to the complex. The foot traffic is horrendous. One night at 3am, the fire alarm went off for over an hour, the firetrucks came, but it was just a false alarm. There has been a problem with the fire alarm system since we moved in and in 5 months, it has yet to be fixed. There is no heat in the hallways. My husband had a gun pulled on him and our dog within a month of moving in, when our dog was simply barking at the guy. There is constantly trash and litter around the grounds. The windows are drafty and don't really shut. The a/c froze up one night and the maintenance man called and told me to shut it off and open the windows, so he did nothing, when the apartment was already 80 degrees. There has been a cockroach infestation since we moved in. We have repeatedly complained and they have done nothing. We still continue to find cockroaches in the kitchen. However, when there was a high water bill they came and searched for a leak, so when it means they loose money they will work on the problem. However, when it means it is the health and safety of the current residents and it will cost them money, it is not important. I would only suggest you live here if you can keep your head down, not bother anyone, and live in unsafe conditions.

Versailles has gone through a extensive upgrade under new management we have put a new roof on both sides of the building, new mailboxes, new Heating & Cooling system and we are doing our BEST to provide our residents with leased portable a/c units & portable fans for use during the interim until the heating and cooling contract work is complete. We are also in the process of installing cameras in our building on each floor as well as the front and back parking lots. This is a great place to live and we have residents who have been here for over 30 years. We love our residents at The Versailles, and to show our appreciation monthly we do giveaways and have a resident appreciation brunch with lots of sweets for the sweet. Come check out Versailles for yourself...you will be extremely pleased with our apartment community!

HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE.. Homicide in front of the building in 2011, numerous vehicles broken into, raccoons and squirrels in the ceilings, drug dealings throughout the unit; need I say more? UPDATE*** Here it is May 6th, 2012 and my elderly aunt has NO AIR CONDITIONING in her unit. Her thermostat reads 93 degrees. NEVER MOVE TO THIS DUMP!!!
