TLDR: Very pet friendly esp for dogs, maintenance can be a problem, neighbors can be a huge problem, very beautiful nature areas and the units are pretty, a little higher priced than some apartments but the area and amenities makes it worth it, pricing is inconsistent.
I have lived at Chase Village for almost a year now. There's some good and some bad. The good is its a nice place. Rent everywhere is crazy so I can't compare it to how rent would normally be, but with how rent is now its on the higher end but reasonable based on location, demand, and amenities. Compared to Ducks Village for example (a complex across the street), its a far better place. The staff are friendly, they sometimes throw events like taco nights for the residents to attend, large rooms in the main building to rent out for birthday parties, etc. There's 2 pools, lots of parklike areas and its very pet friendly, especially towards dogs, with dog parks.
Now the downsides are the neighbors mostly. Currently I have 2 neighbors next to me and one below me. One of my neighbors is an angel and is very quite and I never hear them unless things are really quiet then I may hear them scrubbing their bath tub through the wall. However, the other neighbors are very loud. One neighbor throws parties, sometimes late at night like one time (which was the worst) they partied from 2am-5am. There are courtesy officers to come and address such situations but there is little they can do aside from report the situation to management who then may decide to fine said offender, or to say they will contact the police. In this night it took 3 visits and the threat of police for them to turn of their blaring music and stop screaming. They have been much better since this but still are loud but far better than they were prior. The other neighbor also blares music (their speakers may be on the wall we share) and the bass is really heavy and sometimes even makes the room feel like its shaking.
As other reviews have said the walls are thin and if things are too quiet you do hear people closing doors, cabinets, etc, you can also feel people going up and down the stairs if you live upstairs (like the flooring will shake as they are going up and down it).
The other big problem would be maintenance to an extent. They are frequently busy which can be problematic if things aren't working but if its serious such as neither toilet is working they will come faster to help because legally they have to. In our case our "guest bedroom" has had water problems since we moved in. Every morning our roommate has to fill their toilet with water and then in order to use it they have to flush before and after using it or else the water will go away. Maintenance has come to fix this 5 times and it hasn't been properly fixed. The main bedroom's bathroom was also having issues with it randomly flushing and staining but after the 3rd or 4th time coming it was finally fixed. I don't know how common this problem is but having repeated requests for the same problem is what we have experienced.
Other side things: If you have more than 2 people in the unit who eat different foods the fridge may be a little small (as it is apartment sized), some units (esp middle units) do not have the best lighting, the prices of different units is all over the place (I have been told this is based on location) for example a unit across from you may be around $100 more or less per month (with units further away being $200+ more or less per month), there are 2 pools + 2 gyms + a yoga studio, there are lots of dog friendly areas with I think 2 dog parks, there is a car washing station, you can rent a washer and dryer in unit, each unit has a fireplace, each unit has a bathtub, if you have a dog and are on a downstairs level you can put your dog on a rope or put up a small fence and be outside with it doing whatever, free parking can be hard to get especially after 5pm in some areas, and there is a non refundable $200 fee for carpet cleaning when you move out.
