Chesterfield-Glencarin-Oakwood Neighborhood Summary

These three neighborhoods are the distinctly “college neighborhoods” right outside of MSU, bordering the northern part of campus. Though there is the occasional pizza joint and college dive, these neighborhoods are largely residential areas. Luckily, all of these neighborhoods are within walking distance to campus and downtown’s many amenities. Each neighborhood offers many different apartments and single-family homes that are student-friendly. Because these areas are geared towards students, they can get rather rowdy, but maintain a strong sense of community.
