I just resigned my lease after a year of living at Dayton Towers! I have a daughter who is 13 and with me p/t and she feels at home here as the staff makes her cared for and at home! Kristi in the office is the best by far, she really cares about the tenants and is VERY responsive! The location is amazing and we walk to dinner, drinks and events several times a week. The pool is the BEST IN DAYTON, hands down!

I'm a UD grad and have been here for a year. Looking to stay another. It's a solid community that is noticeably getting better. I'd rate it above a solid 3.5 on its way to 4.25+. Staff is very friendly. Amenities are fair. Seems like a younger crowd is moving in making the place more lively.

Was only living in Dayton for 3 months, so I signed a 3 month lease with Dayton Towers. Come to moving day, while I am handing the office staff my keys I find out that I needed to give a 30 prior notice to move out, even though I had signed a 3 month fixed lease. They claim its Fair Housing Act procedure. I looked into it and turns out that fixed leases do NOT require 30 day notices if a lease is up. So, they gave me NO WARNINGS even though they knew my the dates of my lease when I signed it six months ago. So now I am out 700 dollars for an apartment that will be empty. Also, appliances suck. I will say I did not mind living there at all until they screwed me right as I left. I have rented for five years now and even the worst land lords let you know about a potential charge like that.

Best place I've lived so far. Maintenance is very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Office staff is also very friendly and helpful. Some things in the apartments are older, but maintenance stays on top of everything. They are very pet friendly. All the staff love to pet your dog any time they see it. It has come under new management since the bad reviews on here were written. I have experienced no issues here at all. Neighbors are friendly. All utilities are paid by the complex and you can get an extremely large two bedroom apartment, all utilities paid, for under $900 a month (currently, but doesn't include pet rent that is currently $25 a month per pet). Highly recommend to anyone who needs an apartment in the Dayton area.

I have lived here for 8 months now, and I am very pleased with my stay so far. The apartments have plenty of space in them with lots of storage. The rent is very reasonable and includes ALL utilities. The only extra thing you have to pay for is Cable/Internet. The pool area is nice, and there is also a large lawn in back with benches and charcoal grills. The location is great; you're only a block away from all the restaurants and bars in the Oregon District. You are also very close to downtown as well. The management staff is very good. They are nice and know me by name. I haven't had an issue with any crime since I've been here, nor have I ever felt unsafe. I can really only think of two cons. The appliances are pretty old, however; they work just fine, and I had no problem with them. I know you can get a renovated apartment with new alliances, if that is an issue for you. The second would be that laundry is coin operated and in the basement. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good apartment in the downtown area at a reasonable price.

I have lived here since August 2012 and have had nothing but a good experience here. 1. Office staff/Maint team extremely friendly.. Always there when you need them. 2.Spacious apartments- good floor plans.. Some apartments have wood floors but mine has carpet.. 3. Had a few minor maintenence issues when I moved in... All those were promptly fixed. 4. Pool is amazing during the summer (8 feet deep) and last summer there was hardly anyone ever there.. (They do check pool passes so no randoms are crashing the pool) 5.Great city views on one side of the building.. The other side not so much.. More or less a parking lot view for all the apartments at the front side of the building.. 6. ALL UTITLITIES included! All you need to get is internet and cable.. Everything else is covered under your rent and UNLIMITED usage.. 7. Hotel like lobby with coffee and cookies 6 out of 7 days a week (no coffee and cookies on Sunday) Great place to live! Signed my year lease to stay until 2014 if not longer!

I have lived here for almost a year, I will be moving out when my lease is up. I will list pros and cons of living here Pros: Great downtown location, within walking distance of the Dragons stadium, the Oregon district, everything downtown is close and accessible. I work in Riverside and I can come home for lunch. The center of everything there is to do in Dayton. Great park area on the property with a pool. free parking with well maintained and (relatively) crime free lot. The lobby is always in good presentable condition. Decent size workout room and laundromat in the basement. A soda and snack machine. Utilities paid. (mostly) quick maintenance staff. They did replace my toilet and fridge when I had issues with them. Cons: Do not let the word "luxury" fool you, this is anything but. The only thing luxury about this place is the lobby. The units have 50 year old appliances and doors, the air conditioning/heating units are the same that were installed when the building was built in the 60s. From winter until late spring the air conditioning is turned off, you will bake. When the AC is turned on they turn it off at night (and deny it, although you can see the fans in the units not spinning from my window) until the hottest part of summer. I have had my AC units on full blast all summer and it will not get below 70 in my studio apartment. Many tenets smoke drugs and it will hang in the hallways so strong you will gag. I have had two neighbors so far and both smoked drugs. My bathtub constantly clogs and will vomit black goop on occasion. The walls are cheaply built, but I have never been to a apartment building that was apparently. I can hear one neighbors phone ring. There are multiple small dogs in the building that constantly yap. My carpets are very cheap and the carpeting tacks are poking up in multiple locations, there are cigarette burns all over it. Tile in the kitchen is separating with an inch between some of the linoleum squares. tenets will smoke (including the building manager) right outside the front door where it clearly says it is illegal to do so within 20 feet on a door sign. Every time i go in or out i must do so through a cloud of smoke. The laundromat units are as old as the building with the same pricing as top of the line laundromats. My floor will pop and crack as you walk across it like you are listening to rice crispies. Well you have seen my pros and cons, make your own decision.
