The Village Lakes is hands down the best apartment complex I've lived in in the DFW area and I've lived in quite a few. Management truly cares about you and go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. They don't treat you as a resident, but rather as part of the family. All of the leasing ladies are super friendly and knowledgeable. They love where they work and it shows. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and clean!! There're two amazing lakes in the complex full of wildlife - ducks, geese, turtles and fish. It's amazing and peaceful. Jogging trails are great, especially since they're surrounded by nature. My husband and I moved here from another Village property because we were able to get a unit with the lake view, which is fantastic! Maintenance is great and get things done quick. I can't express how happy we are with everything about this property. Oh and did I mention how great the location is?! Thank you so much to everyone who makes this complex a great place to call home!
Nice clean place to live. Have a small lake that is wondeful. Had my car stolen once though.
One of my favorite spots to relax and get into God's nature.
Beautifully kept in every detail, but not flashy or fancy. Great community activities, walking trails, nice pond. Go see Ana! She is the best!

Great place to live but you are just a number to the management. Timely maintenance. They raise rent the maximum amount every year. I asked to negotiate $30 difference and they told me to move out if I didn't like it. Then they charged me over $750 for supposed damages, which is a load of crap.
PROS:
1. Jogging trail is literally apartment adjacent. I only need to step outside my door to take a nice walk in a beautifully maintained area.
