I'm from Cincinnati, OH and I came to California under false insurance and a shady referral. I relapsed and was left homeless on the streets of Santa Ana. By the grace of God a man told me about Charle St. Against all odds they took me in off the streets and gave me a bed. I stayed the whole time and even transitioned into a sober living close by. Charle st. saved my life. I thank everyone from the volunteer staff all the way to the men that come over for the meetings. So if anyone is on their last life line. I recommend this place to all.
This is a great place if you need it. They helped my friend dry out. I appreciate all the good they do.
Boyfriend attended and enrolled in rehab. clean, friendly men who are getting their lives back on track. AA meeting are available.

NON Medical detox they give you solution straight from the book and you can develop a simple routine here. Lots of opportunities to be of service here. You can only come one time in a year and three times total in your lifetime. It definitely keeps you accountable

They kicked me out with no idea where I was or where to go. They say their slogan is to help a struggling alcoholic. If your fooled by their nonsense then your just as f**king gullible as I was to think they actually follow what the big blue book says. Pathetic. Don't be mislead by their lies. They really don't care about you. Worst decision I ever made was to go there. I'd rather drink than to be given false hope. Thanks for kicking me when I'm already down!

Charle street is a de-tox center for alcohol.Its a 10 day program and if u work it will work for you. I did and it's amazing how my life has moved in a more positive direction. 3 meals a day all that's required is a daily chore usually 10 minutes if that a daily aa meeting and a willingness to change.
