I lived there for 4 years. I just moved out yesterday. The last 2 years as been terrible. They let drug dealers move in even though they do background checks. They cant keep a landlord for a long period of time. And the Landlord that has been there dont care about their residents safety. I had a drug dealer living beside me and I have told told them numerous times and even taken pictures of him trading and they say they are going to do something then they shrug it off. This is not a good place to live if you want quiet time cause people are very disrespectful and will blast their music so the whole complex hears it. Some residents are very rude and will call you names. i have called a racist (i am the nicest person ever) been verbally abused and landlord wont do anything about it. And dont bother calling police if someone calls you names or causes trouble cause unless the person threatens you and you have proof they wont do a single thing. I am so glad I am out of there and will never go back! I am getting back on my feet and moving into a better apartment. I lived there 4 years and there has been 5 shootings!!

This complex is unprofessional to the tee. First, my initial landlord up and moved to New York and they didn't think to notify us of that change until I saw the sister complex manager in the office. And the sister complex manager (Winthrop Court) is so unprofessional! She forgot to add in my half of the rent, then I got a late fee because of her mistakes. Ms. Yolanda was her name and she would leave the office early, or go a few days without being there! I would call (both offices mind you), and I wouldn't get a call back, nor a note stating she received my call. My move out date was supposed to be 4/21, which she sent us a paper to fill out and we thought that was all we had to do. When my boyfriend went to talk to her, she said, "Oh, you also needed to give a 30-day notice." Which was bull because we weren't aware of that! So we put in the notice and wanted to know our May rent (since it should be prorated). We call and call again, no answer or call back. I go to the office at Parkville, and there's a new landlady, which of course, we weren't aware of! I tell her my displeasure with Ms. Yolanda, and she just sits there and nods like this was a normal thing. She also advises us that there was a notice to vacate form that was supposed to have been signed, but wasn't given to us because Ms. Yolanda "does things differently." Now trying to get in touch with corporate, and there is no number! Still haven't gotten the prorated amount for May, and the new landlady seems so lost she looks like a deer in headlights. I honestly just want to be done with this property because they're anything but classy, organized and managed.
