Short North Neighborhood Summary

Short North is one of the most beloved neighborhoods in Columbus, despite its small size. It’s a hipster art village infused with lively, creative energy. As you walk along the narrow streets of this tiny neighborhood, you can gawk at the fantastic street art around every corner. There are almost too many galleries in this neighborhood to count. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy the monthly Gallery Hop. This celebration of art all culminates with ComFest – a commemoration of political activism, art, music, and community – in Goodale Park. Many of Columbus’s best restaurants are located in this area. The Pearl, for example, makes all of its food from scratch while providing an upscale vibe to casual dining. Residents can enjoy the diverse housing in the area, covering everything from refurbished old homes to modern apartment buildings.
