Dont get me wrong you get what you are paying for, I signed my first lease expecting to leave after a year and the reality is that I could not find a better place for that price. Redston is a decent place, well located with nice people around you.
To the people crying that they did not receive the deposit, I got to tell that I got a full refund! I assume that was Because we were clean and returned the apartment in good shape.
Thanks for your patience and your help, I did not appreciate how good you were at the time, which is funny because I moved to another condo 5 times more expensive (once graduated) and I always was missing Pacco and the other guy.

Hi everybody,actually i moved newly so maybe i didn't live the bad situations yet which previous reviewers happened to live.so i gave a 4 star.and i hope it doesn't happen to me,but till now i really liked everything here.the aparment is large and clean, maintenance person mr.paco is awesome for responsiblity at his work.at first when i moved in i found many bugs &bug eggs on the cabinets in kitchen and bathroom(they cleaned the cabinets but not upsides just insides but it is ok)also a razor on the bathroom cabinet i was lucky i had plastic gloves so it didn't cut my hand. but i would clean the house with bleech already cause i am a cleaning psycho.and compare to northgate area this house was very celan and very large for 2 people i wish we moved here earlier ,apartment complex doesn't smell curry which is a plus for me .And the first floor has so much ac noise if the ac engine is a new model.It literally f my head on bedroom side.saloon has not the ac noise.also gardens are good for bbq,and the neighborhood is fine,they all seem good people it is not a partying place it is a family place which is good for studying silently.And the management,i dont know?the blonde girl is not here anymore when we signed the lease so they added an extra end deposit thing,and the rest of the management didn't do a bad thing till now i guess.i said the problems and they solved almost all.but absolutely when i am moving if i experience a bad thing i will share with you,i am worried about end deposit even though i clean the house everyday!:)the people who doesn't steal,or make noise you are welcome to this complex (by the way when you move here specially 1st week dont go anywhere somebody tried to open my door first week and i was luckily at home.)it didnt happen again.he must be somebody from another place who watches the moving people.and the complex is in target&heb area which is another plus for student families who don't have a car.ok that is it for now i hope i dont live the bad things like other tenants experienced before but till now way too good.dont waste your money in small, dirty, and smelly houses just because they are near campus.we did that mistake staying 3 years in the same house in northgate area.

Ive had items taken by staff while away from my home .. If they suggest you need a Digital Box from Sudden Link to watch cable please say no. Recently, sudden link billed me $78.41 and threatened to put it on my credit if the payment wasnt made .. Come to find out Redstones wasnt paying the $3.50 charge for over 10 months , plus lates fees.
Kaitlyn & Samone are full of smiles, until after you sign your lease agreements. They favorites words are Ill get back at you. ... and that never happens. This place is full of BS!!!

This is located close to everything but the price is pretty high and they do not have many options when it comes to floor plans.
I have lived here for three years. The apartments overall are nice for what you are paying. There are many parks close by where I take my dog.

I will never again live at an apartment complex owned by this management and neither should you. Here's why-
First, I was told my non-smoking apartment was ready for move in. Upon arrival, there were dishes in the dishwasher, loads of cool whip containers in the cabinets and pantry, and silverware in the drawers. The apartment was not vacuumed, the bathroom and kitchen not cleaned, and to top it all off it REEKED of smoke. Let's just say it took two days and $60 worth of cleaning products to get the place livable. That does not cover the smoke smell. I had to buy two air purifiers to get the stench out. It took 2 months before I could fall asleep without sneezing. Did I make all of this information known to management? Of course, I filled it all out on my move in sheet. Did they offer any sort of apology or reimbursement? Of course not!
I could not get out of this apartment quick enough. Upon my move out, I cleaned my apartment. I did not want the next tenant to receive the same treatment as I did. I probably spent about 3 hours cleaning the apartment for my move out. I was looking forward to receiving my deposit back.
Instead, I received a $75 bill for not wiping the baseboards down and not cleaning the ceiling fan. I challenged it of course. But these people refuse to talk to you on the phone, only fax. Needless to say, they did not see my point of view and now I owe the money or they send debt collectors after me.
There is not enough bad things I could say about this apartment and it's management. Take my warning- anywhere is better than living here.

1.UNSAFE, the maintenance guy stole from me but he denied and the leasing office was on the guy`s side since they were afraid of the liability. When I lived there one of my neighbors terminated the lease early since her apt was broken into.
2.Not soundproofing. I could hear my neighbor`s sexual moans constantly..
I could not find anyone to take over my leasing since I didn`t want to sugar coating the apt or lie to a potential lease taker, so I moved out as soon as my lease ended. I will never come back and never recommend it to anyone.

The apartments are so poorly built and run down. The floors are not level, what I mean is nothing in the kitchen that sits on the floor is level. This means the door on the refrigerator doesn't close or open correctly. Yes we already adjusted the feet on the refrigerator but not enough adjustment. The table and the dish washer and the door to the washer and dryer are always out of line. The apartment shifts so badly that the doors and Windows cannot close correctly. I think the most annoying part is there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. At first I didn't think this was that important, but unless you are okay with taking a shower with the window open you will either have to steam up the rest off the apartment with the door open and your roommate watching or you could close the floor and deal with the mold that accumulates on the ceiling. Even if you don't have to deal with the mold in the bathroom there is still mold in the walls because the apartments are prone to flooding and they can't or don't replace the drywall. Oh and last but not least the pool never works and crime is horrible here. Car broken into twice! So in conclusion, if you like dirty, moldy, unsafe, housing with very expensive electricity but nice staff then Redstone is the place for you. If not I suggest you save your money and sanity and go somewhere else.
