This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Complained about the maintenance and bugs for a month now and they just kept saying they will fix it but never did. On saying that we will not be paying the rent until these issues are fixed they said these are not life-threatening issues. So, this means they only fix the issues when they become life-threatening. The maintenance guy came in to solve one of the issues and was so rude and banged the door so hard. If that door would have broken they would have taken another couple of months to fix it as it is not a life-threatening issue. This place is no less than staying in slums.

I was visiting a friend in Casa del Sol for a week and found the following issues: Manager kept convincing to my friend until it became a life threatening issue, no water supply for three days, pest issues, water clogging issues, rude maintenance staff. Instead of staying in the apartment, I preferred to stay out most of the time. I believe the current situations are not apt for upcoming students and Casa del Sol is in dire need of well equipped management and maintenance services.

Good things about Casa: It's pretty close to the campus and north gate and bus stop (No. 15). They'll give good discount offers for the first month or so - depending on your leasing duration. Overall experience so far: Very Disappointing. Why do I say so?? Read on .. 1] If something (such as gas, bulb, no shower stopper is there etc.) isn't working in your apartment, it might take minimum of 2-3 weeks for someone to come and have a look at the issue (fixing may take more time - as the "Work Order" is placed). Think about it. If the gas stoves aren't working properly, can you afford to wait for 2 weeks for someone to come and investigate? No. You can't. But that's reality. 2] Think about a scenario: Weekend. You have a party gathering planned in your apartment. A lot of friends are coming for a Brunch (or say, breakfast or lunch - it can be anything). And when you wake up, you see there's no WATER! What do you do? You contact the leasing office and the manager. No reply. What do you do? There's no water to drink, to go to the washroom, or to cook, and you don't know how long it's going to be like that - because the management didn't let you know. Now, sometimes it may happen that, the management themselves don't know how long it's gonna take - this is understood. But what if the water problem is there for 3 days!!! And a planned work/maintenance to fix can always be broadcasted to the tenants - so that they can plan the things accordingly. 3] Bed bugs: Yesterday, one of my friends told me that, one of his friends who stayed at CDS named this place as "Casa Bug Sol" - you get the idea. I have stayed in Country Place and College Main earlier. But I must say that in case of handling such issues, the management was proactive - at least they communicated planned fixes/maintenance (it helped us plan!) and they were more active in response. I understand that sometimes things become complex and providing response to each and every message/text/email is not viable, but at least broadcasting what's happening will update the tenants and it will help the management too! 4] Laundry facilities: good part - without going to the museum, you can see antique how antique things work :) bad part - I guess two of the dryers don't work - it took me and my roommates two rounds of drying. We haven't tried it since then - so can't say for sure. I hope to see some improvements in the way CDS works (may be there's a scarcity in man-power which is causing all these issues. So, CDS management can employ more workers to get things done faster) so that I rate them the best - some day!!

I am fed up with the working personal of Casa. It's been a month, I faced a lots of problem such as Mismanagement, full of bedbugs, without prior information cutting off water supply. Even after request they don't take care of our problems. If you really want to enjoy your stay here in US then I will recommend to purchase a tent rather than living in casa. And if you are student so please join the lease because bugs will help you in your studies by biting your when you will be in your sound sleep.

A definite NO No for this place. I have lived here for 1 year. Apartment houses lots of pests and bed bugs. This place looks like a slum. Do not get misled by the photos. The place does not have swimming pool or Gym not even a common place to sit.No other common amenity in working order. However they boast lot of common amenities. Roofs leaks during rains.and if you are on first floor, it gets flooded literally water in your bedroom. The common washer and dryer are antiquated. There is absolutely no greenery or landscape. They do not clean the common areas and hence the dirtiest place I had to live for 1 year.
