Lived here for a couple years, loved the price/management. The buildings are definitely dated, but appropriate for the price. Great perks are off-street parking, pool, porches, location. The heating was the only issue I found to be a consistent problem, but the spaces are cozy and can be heated with space heaters.
Would highly recommend living here! Really helpful staff and convenient location for students. Pretty inexpensive and very safe with has lots of great benefits.

Had a pretty bad experience overall. My house got broken into and had my laptop and Xbox stolen. Management was not helpful beyond giving us the police helpline. They blamed us for the break in saying that one of us had given our keys to some outsider or we had left the door unlocked. We later found out that the robber had pried open the patio door stopper from the outside (the design was so bad that there a small gap between the door and the stopper on the inside) and come in. After all of this,the management had the audacity to not only not return our $200 refundable deposit, but also bill us an extra $150 for nothing. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Better stay at forum apartments nearby if you want to stay in the west side. Also, several other houses got broken in to apart from our's which is not shocking at all, given how disinterested the management is in tackling these issues.Also, heating is non existent in the winters, so better get some space heaters and be ready to experience a lot of tripping lines because of the overload. Only upside is that it's cheap, but hey, cheap and good is never a thing. Would give this place a 0/5 if Google let me.

Plumbing is awful our water in our apartment stinks and hasnt been looked at. Its cheap thats about the only good thing other than that its a horrible place to live.

Cheapest apartments near UC campus. Pleasant staff. Quality of apartments aren't as great as forum or gaslight properties, nevertheless it's a perfect fit for students who want to stay at a 15 min walking distance from campus and don't want to spend too much.
Most importantly, after the first 6 months of compulsory lease, it's going to be a monthly lease and you just have to let them know a month in advance if you're leaving. Happy apartment hunting!

Lived there for a year. Price was great for having my own place in Cincinnati in Clifton and near downtown. Issues were plenty while living there. When I moved in my unit had mold in the bathroom growing in the ceiling, which was quickly "patched" up but will get back to more of that later in the review. Things were good for the next couple of months until winter came. There is no heat in the apartment and when the wind chill was -15 it was FREEZING inside. Curled up under 3 layers with a space heater next to me while in my apartment. Winter ended and the mold came back in my apartment. My bathroom ceiling was black and water would go through the ceiling and into my bathtub. After reporting it to management their "fixing" of the issue was put a hole in my ceiling, so the water can FREE FALL into my bathtub. Once I moved out of there I had to clean all of my stuff and saved most of it, but lost some things due to the airborne mildew and mold. Glad I worked 6 days a week and was away a lot, while living here and who knows what my health risk could of happened.

My roommate and I have lived at Mont Michel for going on three years and have had no major problems. The problems we did have were promptly corrected. One such incident was our wall air conditioning unit going out. After telling the landlady it was replaced within 2 days. Another incident was a roof leak in one of the bedrooms which was fixed after only a couple days with a seal on the roof and plastering the ceiling. All in all we have had a great experience and would recommend to students at UC!!

Worst apartment run far away from this apartment they will say we are family before taking the room but after few days they will show their true colors, they say free heat facility but i guarantee that the heat is worst during winter we complained many times to give better heat but same story, we bought heaters which cost $150 extra energy bill. The worst part is they collected 250 dollars for maintenance after i vacated the house saying that they found bed bugs in my room.

The sign out front says "You're our #1 priority". The falseness of this statement is unfathomable. I stayed in the apartment for exactly a year and could not take it. There were several instances where I just wanted to pick up all my stuff and just break my lease. I had several leaks and several outbreaks of mold, which occurred from the water leaks that they haphazardly "fixed". The only thing they did to accommodate me was to take 100 dollars off the rent. Not okay. After the second outbreak originating from the alleged "fixed" mold location I had no choice but to call the board of health. Yes, this apartment complex seem very affordable and college friendly but they do not live up to the sign hanging on the rental office. However, this is not a dig at the landlord, she is a nice lady, but I feel that her first concern is making money, not her residents. Apart from the mold, there were several other things that I had to keep calling about that seemed to never be fixed. Sorry this gets a zero rating from me.
