The 12,000 students enrolled here enjoy a very high quality of education, with the school consistently topping lists of the best public schools in the Midwest. The Northern Iowa Panthers also provide a competitive athletics program, especially in Basketball and Football. Unquestionably the schools most famous athletic alumnus is the two-time NFL MVP, Kurt Warner.
