I have lived here for the past 3 years now and I have enjoyed my time here. I love my apartment, there is a ton of space and the location is central to everything. The maintenance staff are great, they manage to complete my work orders in a timely manner. They have done some new updates to the property and I like the new speed bumps that were put in place!
I would give this place 0 stars if it were possible. The office staff is ALWAYS rude! Maintenance has no idea what they are...

Maintenance has no idea what they are doing; It took them forever to fix my leaky windows ( I had to remind them several times that they still were not fixed. ) Appliances are beat up and need replacing. Grounds are never maintained - there's trash everywhere. They are slow at snow removal... I could go on and on! Office staff are writing reviews to raise review ratings ... SAD!

Overall a 3.5 because almost everything you need is within a couple lights. You get Meijer, Speedway, Family Video, Atherton High School, Police Station, Post Office, corner store, bars, and more. They have a small pool, mini workout room, and deliveries you miss usually go to the front office. Nice and quiet because the background of the complex is just woods and fields. You'll see bunnies and a few deer. Now there's a parade every year that blocks the street so you have to either leave extra early in the morning or your car will be stuck there all day. There's no park for the kids to play at. There is one field but kids just walk around. One set of the apartments have a low hanging carport and you will accidentally hit your head hard as hell.

I love my apartment, there is a ton of space and the location is close to the airport, highways, and local grocery/shopping stores. The maintenance staff are great, they manage to complete my work orders in a timely manner and the office girls are super nice. They have done some new updates to the property and i like the new speed bumps that were put in place! Keep up the great work blackberry staff.

Maintenance is nice but needs help! Once I had a window that water was coming in ruined my drapes and didn't have anyone come out for a week same with any of my other problems! The office never answers! Don't bother leaving a message they won't call back! (They may tell you they did but they didn't) I have spiders and ants in my house to the point I have to have pest control come out once a week! My upstairs neighbor has kids who run and jump all night (you hear everything)! For a month the gate stayed open every weekend. Parking is terrible never can find a park and your car port is no where near your home. The list goes on !

This complex doesn't keep it's grounds maintained and maintenance sucks. It takes them months to make repairs. The appliances are beat up and the dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes and they are to cheap to buy a new one. They really need to drop the title luxury.
My grandmother lives here. Sort of thin ceilings but I guess it comes with apartment living. Controlled entry of cars and not much crime.
My dad lives her, has security, he's 90 and he loves living there

I had a great time while we were here. The apartments are great for the price and the location is awesome! We were within a short walk or drive to where ever we needed to go. The staff attended to our needs promptly when necessary and the maintenance crew was usually quick to fix the few repairs we required. During the summer the pool was great and always clean. I cannot remember any moment where the pool was closed or appeared dirty. If we move back to the area, this is the first place we'll look to stay.

Recap: Blackberry Creek Village says they offer 'Gated/Controlled Access' Truth, They do have a gate & it's always up, or broken. Full Kitchen & washer/dryer in each unit: All appliances are old and moved from unit to unit...not unusual for that 'on-site' maintenance to take up to a month to come in and fix a major appliance! If you are awaiting a package, make sure there is someone at your place to pick up. I have had three packages sent back, the UPS & FedEx tracker say "No longer lives here." Counting the days until the leese is up!!
