Lowest of the low skum of the earth. I lived here for exactly one year. Never late on rent. I was without a/c for weeks while they put a new roof on my building. I never asked for any concession, just requested it be fixed. I gave my notice over a month before my lease ended. I left the apartment spotless and did not go one month without paying rent. Renters beware.I was told my notice was not within policy and am now being sued for $2733.00. Just received a letter from an attorneyone week after my brothers death. I read some harsh reviews, but moved in due to location. Worst decision ever!!!!! Just say no!

Lowest of the low skum of the earth. I lived here for exactly one year. Never late on rent. I was without a/c for weeks while they put a new roof on my building. Maintenance is amazing!!! Called in the morning and they were out the same day!!! Management is friendly and always there for their residents. I personally want to thank Stephanie in the office for reaching out to me about my prior maintenance request! The office cares and the maintenance guys are on it! I love coming home to Kensington West everyday!

I've lived here at the apartments with my husband and two kids for 3 years now and i love it here. if they would offer 3 bedroom apartments id stay here even longer. The staff in the office is amazing and always polite and helps me with anything that i need. Maintenance and grounds is amazing. i know for me they are always her in a 24 hour period if work needs to be done. i love the fact that once a month they do something fun for the residents. some of the residents here ive become really close with.

I withheld giving a rating until the "honeymoon" phase was over - but halfway into my lease I am as pleased as ever. I have been living in this complex since October. I can honestly say that this was the best choice I could've made for a complex that was affordable and in west county. The updated units are beautiful and the units with laundry in house are incredibly convenient. It is a large complex, but I never felt forgotten about. Monthly newsletters and schedules informed about events and reminders about community events. Those were never my cup of tea - but without a doubt the Kensington West staff has gone to incredible lengths to build a community. The 24 hour gym, sauna, and pool during the summer made my gym membership obsolete. The park like campus resembles a college like feel. A great first choice!

Great place to live!! The management and maintenance guys have always been very friendly and helpful. The complex seems quiet at night or at least my neighbors are awesome! The grounds are kept up and my favorite part is their private dog park! I would recommend this community and plan on staying.

Home Sweet Home... That is what I say every time I come home from work. It is so nice to see our grounds kept up neatly in every season. The Leasing Office is open 7 days a week, which is HUGE plus in my book. If I have a maintenance issue, they are usually out the same day, if not then... then following day for sure. Friendly neighbors and GREAT location. I enjoy staying close to the mall.

Ghetto!! The office staff said they let anyone move in as long as they can afford the rent, which is disturbing. This place is full of drug dealers, that hang out at night in the parking lot exchanging drugs. Lots of illegal activities all around, young college kids partying playing loud music. Constant brake ins in the parking lot into the cars, and into the apartments. Safety is NOT a priority around Kensington West, someones dog was even stolen. So, if you're looking for a descent place to live look elsewhere.

Kensington is a quiet spot right off of Manchester Rd. It's especially nice in the summer tucked away under huge trees all around. I have lived here for a year, and the office staff and maintenance have been very timely w/every request. The price is great considering the living areaI would highly recommend in the future.

Best apartments in Ballwin! Staff is super friendly. Campus has it all. You just can't do better than KW!! Update a year later: Honestly, I don't get the negative reviews. The office and maintenance staff are great. I've had a few maintenance issues over the past 2-1/2 years and have never experienced problems getting them resolved. I've watched management make a number of campus-wide repairs and upgrades in that short time. The folks in the office know both me and my kids by name! All that being said, I follow the rules. I don't have pets. My family doesn't make noise. I treat the office and maintenance staff with the respect they deserve. I am pleasant when chatting with them. Bottom line: I don't cause problems. It makes a difference. One last comment...I know people who live in other complexes. Let me tell you, their experiences are far different than mine. Repairs that take weeks, and only after repeated nagging. Horrible parking. Lousy amenities. Nosy management. Loud neighbors. Antique appliances. I can think of two places where the parking lots are virtually empty--there's a reason why. Drive around KW at night and look for empty parking spots--you won't find many. Unless you're willing to spring for a condo or a house, you can't beat KW for a living experience.

First of all the manager Kali Kirchner lied to me about the apartment being updated and remodeled. When I got there to move in that wasn't the case at all. The cupboards that are in here are older then me and do not work right. Every time you pull out a drawer you wonder if it is going to fallout and hit you in your feet. My kitchen sink when I first moved in wouldn't drain properly because of the design of the sink and they first told me there wasn't anything they could do about. I then had to write to corporate and let them know so I could get a new sink. My living room ceiling looks like any day now it will fall in and I told the property managers about it and they assure me it is safe however it keeps getting worse. I had a hole in my bedroom door when I first moved in and again had to write to corporate to get a new one installed. Everywhere I walk in my apartment I feel soft spots in the floor and wonder if this is the day I am going to bust through the floors. Again the manager says it is perfectly safe even though I can feel the floor boards move under my feet. Then one day I requested this stuff be fixed and I didn't give them permission to enter my apartment when I wasn't home and I come back from somewhere and notice my door open and a maintenance guy in my apartment working. I got mad and kicked him out. I did not threaten him I just told him he had to leave now. What does the property manager do but call the cops. This place is a joke and if you could choose somewhere else to live I would do so. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! YOU WILL THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY!!!!!!!

I've lived at Kensington West for 5 months. There have been minor issues with the complex since we moved in for example: our microwave stopped working after a month of living here and we had to wait about two weeks for it to be fixed. Also our air conditioner was going out every three days and we had to call them several times to "recharge it". We were told by one of the maintenance men that the AC unit was super old but they would not replace it until it breaks completely. More recently, one of our neighbors apartments was broken into and their dogs were stolen along with other personal items. The apartment did not send out a notice to inform people of the theft. Luckily the dogs were found after the couple appeared on a local news station asking for their dogs to be returned. Also the doors only have a deadbolt lock making it easier for people to break in. We will not be resigning our lease.

If you can I would not rent here most people are leaving the complex due to a lot of issues with the properties. There are better places than just this place. I had a lot of issues with the complex in which I tried to let things go but it is one after another. I am not bitter because I paid my rent on time all the time but they do what they want and always dog poop all over the yards.Just remember any complex can lie to you until you sign that almight contract I have rented many places in my life and this is by far one of the worse if not the worse. They tell you what you want to hear and once paper is signed you are on your own. I have lived here for one year and have seen half the complex leave and some of it is due to the head manager. The only plus side I see to this place is Jessica but she will only due what she can because the head manager is rude and treats Jessica like dirt. I am not sure if they are finally letting Jessica run her own complex because so many new employees if so then that would be where I would rent. So I think Jessica won't be there and the fact she won't means it will get worse. If you looking for aparments with quietness they have no sound barriers you can tell the things that have been fixed are shoddy craftsmanship. Once my first incident in dealing with them going into my apartment without me being there and my okay was the first thing that upset me you can't trust all maintenance people so I like to be at home and nope they just walked theirselves in. if any one has a questions I can go more into details and tell you really what it is like in more detail when I seen twenty apts go empty and not many people even moving in should tell you something.
