I have lived here for 2 years and cant say anything bad about anything from the management to maintence. Today I called because it was 95 in our apartment the ac was blowing warm air I called and within 15 mins someone was at the door ready to check it out fixed it within 30 mins. Im glad to have great managers that get stuff done anytime we need them!!!!! Would recommend Parkwood to anyone I know !!!!

I have always had a great experience when dealing with the Ladies at the front office. They were able to provide a quick acceptance and was able to move my parents in within a day. I have to say that I am extremely grateful for the ladies, and am happy with our experience

I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom-I made sure to clean the top of the fridge, the tops of the blinds, I deep cleaned the oven, wiped down all the walls and baseboards, cleaned every nook and cranny in the bathroom, I took every drawer out and cleaned them all-with that said, they charged me a ridiculous amount for their "cleaning staff" to clean the place. They will also charge you $90 to clean the carpets regardless of the time you spent living there (I was only there a couple of months). I would give it 0 stars if I could. The only reason I gave it a try and was because it's a month to month place and was only going to be living in Bakersfield a couple of months.
Also, they do have roaches. The very first day I was there, I saw two HUGE ones run across the living room. They're everywhere, inside, outside, and it doesn't seem like they're going to get rid of them anytime soon.

They sent me to go look at the apartment myself, for all they know I could have made a copy of the key. They were just so rude, walked in and right back out, not sure how they get any business. Loved the apartment but that staff is just not worth dealing with.

Seriously, any time I call for any maintenance issues they either don't answer their phone or they take forever to take care of the issue. There's been 3 people that have been assaulted in the parking lot, and now there's some guy stealing women's undergarments??? What kind of people are they letting live here! I shouldn't have to protect and serve myself. This is what security is for!
I get woken up at 630 every Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning because the gardeners think it's okay to ride their lawnmower so early. It's probably so he can get off early!! SOME PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING AND PREGNANT AS HELL, HAVE SOME CONSIDERATION!!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN AND FIND A NICE RELAXING PLACE YOU CAN CALL HOME!!! I plan on moving soon, it has been TWO years too long that I have been dealing with this!

I have read the other comments and as we know, people have a right to there opinion. People make a bad comment on a business if something doesn't go their way or they don't agree with a company policy. We take pride in our business and our tenants. We do look into all complaints and strive to make things better.

It was one thing after another and the "big" lady in the office is such a horrible person to speak with I finally realized this is not the place I want to be! Save money on moving twice and just go somewhere else because you will constantly have to speak to them and it is a pain every time.
