Lived here a little over a year til we bought a house. Straight forward lease buy-out terms. No small print, harassment, or hidden fees when we chose to leave. Management was really nice up til we moved in, then the tone seemed to change. Very business forward, not nearly as friendly. Different policies for different residents with regard to dogs. We had issues with our dogs on the lawn in front of our unit, other residents clearly have not been spoken to about the same exact behaviors, as they still continue. Maintenance was helpful, friendly, prompt, and respectful. Work orders were usually fulfilled same day. Complex is well maintained, mostly quiet neighborhood though surroundings are getting questionable. Snow removal is prompt but could be more-so with complex owned equipment. Some residents were very friendly but most treated us as outsiders. Very cold and judgemental stares. Mind you, we just work and lead fairly quiet lives. Rent was on the high side for lack of amenities such as an indoor pool, workout equipment, etc. Though there is an argument to be made that rent is fair given smaller buildings with nice sized garages, closed one way in/out community, and close proximity to the river & park. Overall we had very few issues and as a 30yo couple with no kids, we had no problem calling this home for as long as we lived there .

I've actually rented here twice over the years. The grounds are maintained, safe and quiet. The pool and dog park was utilized by myself and my daughter often. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Neighbors are friendly and help you if you need anything as well. These, in my opinion are the best apartments in Anoka for your value.
