Pros: -very reasonable rent for the area -heat is free -great location -well maintained, with responsive maintenance and management (Sunny is extremely fast to reply to emails) -packages accepted at the office -quiet area despite proximity to Washtenaw Ave -safe area - never felt unsafe or heard/saw anything happen at other units -upgraded kitchen and bathroom units are nice -month-to-month leasing available at a very good price Cons: -older buildings with frequent maintenance issues (maybe I was unlucky) -only one washer and dryer shared between 11 or 12 units -EXTREMELY thin walls -no central air (wall unit in bedroom) -baseboard heating is poorly placed and you lose a lot of against-the-wall furniture space -very little storage in kitchen I lived here for 15 months in 2016 and 2017. I moved from out of state and Sunny was a pleasure to work with when sorting out the lease and move. The first eight months of my stay were very good despite some unfortunate maintenance issues. However, I got new upstairs neighbors, and my life became pretty miserable. I could hear everything upstairs very clearly - walking, piano playing, children running and jumping, parents screaming at children. Talking to them + management didn't lead to any improvements, and I was frankly happy to get out of there by the end of my 15th month. If quiet is essential for your sanity, look elsewhere or make sure you get a top floor unit. If not, this is a good place to live at a good price.

Since i move here, i have few issues. Electricity not working for 2 days, and only happened to my building. Super weird. All my food were spoiled. Support centre not willing to help either, she just keep telling (with screaming) people to call DTE on our own and don't give a damn about it. Super unprofessional!!!! Hey aunty, we are the one having issue here and i shld the one scream at you. Water not working for 1 full day, i cant eat or take shower for 1 day. Then, numerous issue with toilet clogging... super disappointed. And clogging issue seem normal in this apt complex. Im still not sure why these ppl gave high review for this old apartment with so many issues..
