I have lived at Woodland Mews for the last 4 years. The first 3 years were in one of the townhouses, and now 1 year in an apartment. It is easy to write a review when you are upset and feel like letting everyone know about your bad experience... and unfortunately, that is what tends to happen with most online reviews. So, I wanted to take the time to let you know about my experience here at Woodland Mews, because it has been beyond great! Perfect? No. But no place is perfect. First let me start with the maintenance staff: They are the number 1 reason that I gave 5 stars. They are quick! I once had a pipe burst late one night, water gushing out, and they were to my house in less than 5 minutes!! Yes, 5 minutes. It was amazing! Maintenance is not only quick, but they are friendly and always respectful of my home. I like how they leave nice notes when you are not home, so you know immediately that they were there when you were gone & what they did to fix the issue. I cannot stress how helpful they are - they go above and beyond what I would expect. For example, my kids have locked themselves out a few times over the years & the staff has saved the day every time!
Woodland Mews is very dog friendly. Lot of handy dog waste stations & they installed a dog park a couple years ago, which is big & awesome!
There are resident events several times a month - I have NEVER lived anywhere that does so much extra stuff for the residents. Some events include: Taco night, Bingo, monthly gift baskets, Sloppy Joes, Pizza night, movie nights, Ugly sweater contest, breakfast-to-go (they meet you as you drive out of the complex in the morning and give you breakfast!!!).... the list goes on and on! I eat at the clubhouse at lease once a month :)
The complex is located in such a great place... in walking distance to lots of shops, a park with toys, basketball & tennis! We have walking trails, a swimming pool, hot tub, workout room and more! Did I mention that my kids can literally walk over the river, and through the woods, to their grandmother's house? Ok, so it's a pond, but still it's true.
So, yes, I love it here! Honestly, I have no plans to move again - I will be here for many more happy years!
