Ive only had great experiences with first Eddie then our maintenance Gary and most of all with Brittany. The staff shows excellent customer service and has met my tremendous needs and questions. The professional courtesy and making me feel like this really is my home, especially during my first time ever renting in the biggest city of AK, I am supremely thankful for this experience. I've been living here for a year and a half now and I'm quite happy with my experience. A short version of my review goes as follows: I've felt safe, my unit is clean, my neighbors are good, staff has been great, rent is very affordable and the covered parking is the cherry on top. I'd recommend living here to friends or family A longer version for those interested: Susitna ridge is like its own community within Fairview. Sometimes you'll hear sirens or someone arguing from a block away, but I've never had any issues inside the complex. I've never felt unsafe in the building, parking lot, or even when walking around the neighborhood. We have not had any issues with pests either. This previous summer there were a couple of weeks where we saw some ants sporadically. Never more than one at a time, never near our food, and maybe one a day. We told Eddie (he's great!) and he was responsive. They ended up having the building treated and we haven't seen one since. We live on the top floor so the elevator is a must (it is sketchy sounding but I haven't had any issues with it). Our neighbors are all good as far as I'm concerned. One of them is perfect and quiet, the other kept me up just once because they were playing music, and one other neighbor owns a dog who he lets run down the hallway. Kind of annoying but not a big deal since it doesn't happen too early or too late at night, its just very loud. The laundry room is fine, I've never been unable to find available washers. The laundry card system is good in concept but the company who runs it is kind of a mess. I tried to load my card online, it didn't work properly and it took months for me to get my money back. But I told Eddie and he gave me a preloaded card to use in the meantime and there weren't any issues. Now I just use cash to load my card instead. There's a trash room downstairs so that you don't have to walk your garbage to the dumpster, which is nice. Only complaint is that some people are rude and leave there trash outside of the door when its closed for the weekend. Its open M-F except for holidays. Overall I'm really happy with living here, none of the things I've mentioned are really a problem to me but I just wanted to be totally transparent, I recommend!

If youre looking for a great place to call home Susitna Ridge is the most certainly the first and last place you should look. The staff at Susitna Ridge are knowledgeable, and friendly, probably the best Ive come across throughout my renting experience. The property really comes to life in the summer as the trees start to get their leaves and the lilac pushes start to erupt with their beautiful purple flowers. The property is just a few minutes walk away from the beautiful Campbell green belt, and is located relatively close to anything you may need.
