I have lived here for 4 years now and can't wait to get out of here . The office staff are very very rude and the manager Susan is no help for nothing she is rude and don't care for the people who live here and pay thier rent. When u put in a work order it takes forever for it to get fixed. And then when it does get fixed it gets done half ass. Like the AC in my apt# since then have turned them this year my AC has stopped working 4 different times and they leave you with out air even though it's like 100 out side and tell you there are still a few work orders in front of urs like really and just so much more wrong I could go on for days about this place and what makes it that much worse is the manager not knowing how to talk to or treat us who live here. I am really to the point I am thinking of calling the media and the news because it's really to much already we pay our rent on time but yet we have to live with out air and so many other things i am not ok with that and something needs to be done about this place already.

If I could give no stars I would. I read the reviews before moving in and assumed they were people that had been evicted or were angry about something but day 1 realized my mistake. My apt was disgusting. I had to scrub it from top to bottom with bleach. The carpet had red stains in it and ha clearly not been clean properly. One of the bath tubs had a big crack in it and all the counters in the bathroom and kitchen were peeling. I filled out the move in form with everything that was wrong and put in work orders. For the next 6 months I put in work orders and nothing got fixed. My refrigerator was leaking, my ceiling was leaking, and the sink on the bathroom was leaking. I literally had to talk to a lawyer and do a 7 day notice for them to come fix anything. I moved in Feb of 2017 and it took til July 2017 for them to do anything. I met with the staff in the office and 2 different managers and still nothing. I complained to the office several times about roaches and they did nothing. Nobody has sprayed my apt since I moved it. I had to go get my own stuff to spray for the bugs. The people above me fight constantly and because the walls are so thin I can hear everything my neighbors are doing. 2 days ago a lady OD'd in heroine outside my apt. There is always trash everywhere and people don't clean up after their dogs again the office does nothing about it. The police are there almost everyday and sometimes more than once a day. This is my last month here and I can't wait to move. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Brianna is nice and helpful but she is the only one.

Does this place have maintenance or are they too lazy? Visited a family member (brother) who was living there (since early spring) for thanksgiving holidays and noticed a refrigerator leaking water underneath, the kitchen sink leaked underneath too as well. I heard my cousin had to call her father (plumber) to come fix it, and he did it in less than 2 hrs. Now they say everything is good. Oh and I notice the bathtub looks horrible, what kind of paint did they use?? How can my family members pay 800 a month in this crappy place? Plus one room still cold when doors are closed, the only way it heats up is if the door is open. (2 bedroom apt.)

This was the worst apartment complex I have ever, ever lived in. There was one day we had hyperdemic needles in the parking lot. Constant shootings, I'm certain our place had mold, and maintenance barely answered repairs. Our air conditioner never worked properly, our apartment was a constant inferno even with it on. I had to beg to get our air conditioner even turned on and they didn't even believe it hadn't been done. The staff sucks. You put in a work order they forget about it. I remember another time the grass outside our apartment was littered with beer bottles for weeks. Do not rent here ever. They're screening process doesn't work. The complex is full of criminals, the staff will ignore you, the appliances and ceiling fans are from 1980 and don't work properly. Nothing is upgraded. The carpet never gets replaced. On top of that they are doing nothing to appease good tenants who pay their rent on time like I always did. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Just because it's cheap does not mean the quality of life is worth it.

I have been a tenant at Mesa Ridge for over a year now. After the first 3-6 months I had completely decided NOT to renew my lease. I was very disappointed in the maintenance & the lack of them following through on repairs. Then I was shocked at how poorly the then manager(s) handled things. I stopped even requesting altogether. However, since then new management came in & things started changing. I've seen good changes happening. The complex overall looks great with some new landscaping but even more so there is much less questionable people in or around. I've noticed the police are not here on a nightly basis anymore & the is a friendlier vibe. Susan makes herself completely available to talk & resolve any issue I've ever had. She has been diligent in making Mess Ridge a good community. Also her assistant Breanna is very nice & knows what she is doing. It's nice to go in and see her smiling face. In addition, her new maintenance crew is great. The change is surprising. They respond quickly & actually follow through with repairs. Elvia is great. She is a pleasure to deal with & will go above & beyond to make sure she resolves the issue at hand. I am no longer embarrassed to say I live here & that is a great feeling. A big THANK YOU to the entire staff & a huge thumbs up to Susan!

Do not rent here!! You will not get your security deposit back when you move out! Even if you scrub the place from top to bottom and the apartment looks better than when you moved in,they will take a good chunk if not all of your security deposit! Among the many things they had to "clean", the bathtub was one of them. When I moved in, the bathtub was painted over as to hide the wear and tear of it. Over time,the paint began to peel because they didn't use a water proof paint and the bathtub is plastic. I can guarantee you they repainted the tub when I moved out. They had the nerve to charge me $40 bucks for that. And they also don't mention that they take out money for utilities out of your security deposit when you move out. Make sure to take pictures of the apartment when you move in,and also when you move out! There is also way too much crime at this complex. Mailboxes were broken into several times while I was living there and my truck got broken into right in front of a camera! Cops are always there!

I was thinking about renting an apartment here with my husband, later find out the leasing agent Brianna got my husbands number from the application and wrote him as well as searching him on Facebook and writing him a message as well. Asking him if we were really together because she thought he was a ver nice man and wanted to get to know him. This is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Charged my husband a rent that was not supposed to be charged ! There was no lease signed or anything discussed about being sure of renting it. Now they won't give it back. I would honestly just look elsewhere and if you do think of renting here make sure Brianna isn't the one helping you. She mighty try to take your husband. Honestly look her up on Facebook she's incredibly ghetto and disgustingly ratchet. She sure knows how to act up front, because I thought she was a nice professional person. Complete opposite looks likes she's 30 but only 21. Disappointed in Mesa Ridge for having such an employee.

i would like to thank Mesa Ridge for everything that they have done for me since i have been a resident at there complex. the office staff is awesome and very friendly, the maintenance staff is awesome as well, they are very fast as getting to our work orders and making sure they are done correctly. i would highly recommend this place to everyone looking to get a apartment.

We've lived here for about a week and a half and my car was already broken into today. The apartment was not cleaned what so ever when we moved in. You could see dust bulking up, nails on the floor, very dirty and stained carpets. There are cockroaches running around on the floor and in the fridge. The AC barely works, if at all. We had to continuously call the staff about our application before we even moved in. One morning we woke up to loud banging on our door from the maintenance man who nearly let himself in if it were not for the chain on the door, which is an invasion of privacy. He then refused to fix our leaking tub because "it isn't that bad yet to require repair". There was very loud gardening being done very early and we were unable to sleep most morning. Not to mention that the landscaping was only around the leasing office, no where near the apartments themselves. Very rude and inappropriate neighbors. There is no "No Smoking" sign anywhere near the pool area, which is a family area where I brought my little sister to get out of the heat from the apartment. Instead there were very loud and abnoxious residents smoking and drinking. The next day there was glass in the hot tub. But at least the ceiling fan works. Brianna is very efficient and nice. Just don't move here. Don't waste your money. It is not family friendly. We're moving out at the first chance we get.

I posted a negative review my first month in. Since then I've noticed a slight change in certain things. Brianna is excellent at taking care of tenant needs if your not rude about it. When I moved in the roaches were bad. I have a exterminator in my immediate family & he advised me to NOT let the complex spray for bugs which they offer every quarter or so (3 moths). Instead I released 2 female 'Daddy Long Legged' Spiders into my unit (reccomended) & bought 6 Venus fly trap plants. Within 2 months it helped tons. I'll see 1 or 2 here or there but that's about it. It took care of that problem. Next issue. My car will remain anonymous but there is 3 vehicles that are the same make, model & color as mine. Sometime during the evening my plate was switched out & I awoke in the morning to a boot on my vehicle for expired tags. Problem was fixed however a week later I was notified by my camera app I have within my vehicle when I'm parked at night that someone was trying to jimmy my locks open. I went down & was confronted by 2 crackheads. I called the cops and waited 2 hours for an absolution that never came. Thankfully my building neighbors are decent (FINALLY) but others I've talked to have no such luck. All in all I can say I've seen improvements since living here. My rating went from a 1 star to a 3, 3.5 if I could. I'd advise any tenants now & in the future to use the online portal to resolve maintance issues (they seem to respond to that in an orderly fashion). Document your work orders. Make friends with neighbors to insure a community crime based association that you would find in other neighborhoods. It takes a community to make it work. I will not be renewing my lease but I do reccomend Mesa Ridge as a start up residency to acquire good rental history. Again I say, show staff respect & you will be taken care of

Worst apartments i have lived in and they deserve this rating so people can avoid places like this. NOT WORTH IT TRUST ME!! If you look at the past reviews the owner says the same thing that the staff works hard to make our stay more comfortable as im posting this maintenance is working on a empty apartment while i have been waiting for 2 weeks for them to fix the door that warped after i had told them that a pipe was leaking water and was smelling bad that I had to block off that area for my son not to crawl around on it. AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY

I don't live here, but I'm looking for affordable apartments...I'm a single mother and full time college student, and I don't understand why all the apartments with decent prices have so many complaints...I can understand if its by one angry person... but you all have the same complaint by multiply tenants who actually live there... and the complaints are months and even years apart. Your response is "WE are trying to improve...." How long does it take to improve customer service???? Things like this make it hard to find a decent place to live, where I'm not walking into a drive by, or living in fear, filth or inconvenience.....Improve your services for people who want to get out of these horrible neighborhoods...please!

One time kids were playing outside and there was a shooting right in front of them. To workout you have to pay 30$ to get a key. Not kid friendly at all!!!! They have horrible office workers.
