I am giving this apartment a straight five. Reason for this its not the apartments per say but more of the office staff. This is the very main reason we moving back. Going back to the apartments now you can say they aren't new but the upgrading they have are equivalent to the stone oak area. I live there now and their office hospitaliy is ok not where close to Jackie (manager) David (assistance manager) and Destiney happy smile always ready to assist (leasing agent). This young lady has those out most super personality when greeting new residents or tenants. David and Jackie are super helping in doing your administatve support without a doubt. I cannot stop saying how great this three individuals are. I live here 18 months ago n the staff and maintenance before were of really not as friendly but kind per say. They just did their job bottom line. The maintenance guys here Rudy (lead man) Hector n Christian without a word you can not say but superb outstanding group of men. I haven't even move in yet but I am anxious to come back to a great complex. (More to come)

It is saturday january 20 2018. I came down to pick up a package that was delivered and the management team was not in the office. It is 12:40 pm and the office is supposed to open at 10:00 am. No one is here. I went to check mailbox and all of the boxes were open as if the mailman forgot to close them. This management team is negligent.

We feel in love with our first starter Apt. 218. It had roaches but very little contained by pest control... We loved the quite beautiful nature we saw while sitting on the balcony.. THEN UGH...Theresa was really affected by the paint fumes so extremely strong she had to go stay some place ELSE for the night... You never get your " calls " answered or returned we left several messages about the paint intoxication fumes in February to this day NO CALL.. Eedie and Milly were so amazing repair orders always snappy..Cut corner repairs, great maintenance guys.. Eddie Santos SEE YOU, not as sad as the ladies leaving, you were slacking so much in March or move to Apartment #513 NO CHOICE MOVE.. Very loud at the Jacuzzis after hours, drunks.. Had to call the police... Disturbing Peace... So we appear as SAPD activity warning disturbances, up stairs domestic violence.. The Police always stops to speak to us to tell them incidents.. We then received a letter of warning for Police activity frequently our complex building 5... We have no clue what is going on here with new owners and management. It would have been a warmer, cozy community if the management kept the tenants informed of the drastic changes.. As well the expense we paid in fee that Eddie refused to give 1 day grace, as he is slacking it took 3 weeks to get parking reserve handicap.. We can only pray that the changes being made are for the better.. It would be so cool to have a tanning bed.. More tenant meet and great, 12 step programs, property mixers... We would like to meet new people SOBER gatherings are idealistic.. J and T Lara

This is now my 7 th time calling this problem in. They don't seem to fix problems permanently. So far not happy with my move here.

Two weeks from first review, someone broke the two Windows from her bedroom, called the police again, and the emergence maintenance responded farley quickly, but did not have material to secure the broken window; hardware stores were already closed, had to gather scraps from my house, to try and secure my daughters apartment.

This property is old but some of the units have been remodeled to newer much nicer designs. Our apartment was being remodeled while us still occupying it and due to the carelessness and incompetence of the old manager, Edward Santos, the process has taken about 1 month and a half and is still not complete. We were without a working kitchen for about 3 wks, and we kept getting the run around about when everything would be finished. Once they were "done" there were things that still needed fixing. (You would think that the people hired to the the renovations and the maintenance people would be competent enough to finish the job properly) the units are overly priced at the remodeled rate about $150 higher, than our old rent which the old manager had said it wouldnt be more than $100 which is why we went ahead with it (since we also have to pay for $25 pet rent and $25 for a reserved parking spot) The area is convenient, but the parking is not, if you get parking by your apartment you're lucky. I hope the new management will be better. Also the front office staff is always friendly and they try to be as helpful as they can. Wouldn't recommend

I love the location and whoever I interact with in office has been polite but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place to the next person. I pay about $800 for a 1 bedroom apartment with all old appliances/fixtures, electrical & plumbing issues (light switches not working properly and Brown water at least once a week - which was reported the day I moved in and has yet to addressed) and very limited parking. You'll definitely get more for your dollar at another place. With hopes of moving soon I've looked into apartments near culebra & 1604 which were recently built months ago and run about $100 less. Hope this review helps with your apartment hunt.

If you do not have a parking pass, it is difficult to find a place to park, PARKING IS TERRIBLE! You have to be put on a waiting list then buy a reserved spot. At night, I've had to park near the other buildings and walk thru the parking lot and grass and piles of dog crap because no one there picks up their dog dung. The pool and "hot tub" are closed a lot, hot tub is barely warmer than the pool. The appliances are outdated and the counter tops in the kitchen chip if you drop anything on them. The roof leaked and destroyed some of my books. The bathroom had hairs all over the walls that the people who painted before I moved in just painted over, apparently. They didn't change the filter to the air conditioner for over a year and a half! When the A/C wasn't working, my husband took the disgusting filter off and cleaned it himself. They should change those regularly. It was making our electricity bills high for a long time because the a/c was constantly running and we didn't know why until way later. The toilet and hot water heater had to be replaced right after I moved in because they were broken. The mail was vandalized at least 3 times before they did anything about it (put up a gate). My mailbox was removed with a crowbar and we had to drive 10 mins to the post office to pick up our mail for about a month. I got 2 flat tires with nails/screws in them and found at least 10 that I picked up from the parking lot so no one else would run over them. The 2 stars come from the price, location, the maintenance fulfilling requests in a timely manner and friendliness of a couple of the office staff.

WARNING! DO NOT LIVE HERE! Worst place I have lived by far. Gross dirty bathroom, crumbling cabinets, a dishwasher that made dishes dirtier and kept falling over because they couldn't seem to keep it ancored in, lots of bugs despite having to pay them for pest control, not enough parking and an overall eeeewww factor. Worst of all management was so bad that they failed to disclose continued mailbox break ins over a 9mth period resulting in our mail being stolen without us knowing. Due to our box being broken into, $15,000 was stolen from our accounts. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Me and my boyfriend have lived here a year and I have not had any problems with the staff which is awesome! The apt was a little too small for us BUT the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Parking is kinda bad but you can always park in the front of the office if need be. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Without a doubt the WORST place I have ever lived. Only lived there 4 months because it was just that horrid. The apartment itself is so poorly lit, no natural light, and no overhead lighting either, except for the "dining" area which was badly wired and buzzed. I could hear Blanco road as if the windows were open. The air conditioner was extremely loud and made it very difficult to sleep. There were many many occasions where I had to park across the complex due to lack of parking. They have a salt water pool, which would be fabulous if it were ever open. Management is just awful, no one there will give you the same answer, until it gets to the manager herself who will tell you something completely different than everyone else. Advice if you already live there: get everything... EVERYTHING in writing. Didn't see the unit before we moved in, and that was the first mistake. I actually cried, the bathroom is ridiculous! The grout in the tile was non-existent in some places.I could hear everything the neighbors did in the bathroom. The kitchen was probably the most offensive thing about the place... first off, and this may seem trivial to some, but there is not a drawer in the kitchen that will fit a silverware tray. I could understand this in a unit that was tiny, but this was a 2 bdrm! The dishwasher never worked, not ever. Even after it was fixed, it didn't clean. No ice maker in the freezer, no counter space, no real cabinet space either. In just 4 months time, I watched all of my neighbors move out. There were so so so many nights where I would hate going home bc it was just that bad. I think I had one guest the entire time I lived there, I never cooked, never went in the pool (it was always closed), since moving out, I have had friends family and neighbors over for dinner....that I cooked. I go in the pool all the time here as well. I would not recommend this apartment complex.
